Teen Mental Health Organisation Rebranding.

The Maison des Ados de Vannes is a free, confidential drop-in space in Morbihan where 11 to 21 year olds can talk to psychologists, doctors and social workers, with no appointment and no parental sign-off.

The Maison des Ados de Vannes had an identity that had quietly aged out of the present, and it was well past due for a makeover. Designing for teenagers means walking a fine line, because the work has to feel young and genuinely fun while still treating them as the almost-adults they are.

I built the system around emotions, giving each one a shape simple enough to read at a glance. Teenagers rarely feel one thing at a time, so I designed the shapes to overlap and pile into each other, creating a joyous mess that looks the way complicated feelings actually feel. Poppins in extra bold holds it all steady, its weight pushing back against the movement of the shapes and giving the identity something solid to sit on. The colors are bright without being loud, soft enough to feel like a place you can trust and walk into on your own.
