XRPL Commons is a foundation living in the blockchain world, tied to the XRP Ledger, with a simple mission: grow a strong and vibrant XRPL ecosystem and give the entrepreneurs and developers building within it the support they need to thrive.
My job was to build an identity that moves in the opposite direction from what Web3 usually looks like. No gradients, no purples and blues, none of the cold, techy shorthand the space defaults to. This is a foundation built around people, so the visuals needed to feel that way too.
I started with code glyphs and shaped them into a playful modular system, one where images are built piece by piece out of simple forms. Organic textures and patterns carried that human warmth through the whole system. Bright colors pulled it all together, turning the playfulness into something people remember.
